Hey! I am Tiago and I 17 years old. I think that, if you asked people around me what I am like, they would probably say that I am joyful, fun and humorous (at least I hope so!). I grew up in Chelas, in Lisbon, with my family. From a young age, I have always strived to be independent and earn money. As many other kids, I had the dream of becoming a football player but my biggest goal nowadays is to become a successful entrepreneur. Participating in DiVERGE's program allowed me to have a unique experience that reinforced this goal of mine. I will soon be emigrating to Switzerland - joining my parents and brother - and I will attend business school there. I will miss my friends but look forward to experience a new culture.
It took a while for me to decide on my sneakers but I ultimately chose to do something simple and straightforward in terms of colours. I used black because it is always cool in sneakers but also because it simbolizes fear of change (and losing loved ones) and white and beige because those are the colours that make me feel at peace and relaxed.
