I am Daniel and I am 17 years old. I live in Lisbon. I was born and raised in Chelas, a social neighbourhood know for its troubles and criminal activities. Despite that negative context, I have been able to stay clear from those dangerous paths and dedicated myself to fight for my dreams and goals. My family played a huge role in this outcome, as they are supportive and caring at all times. I believe I have become a fun individual and a good friend of my friends while, at times, slightly cautious and suspicious of things. I really like to listen to music, sign, dance and play football but my real passion is acting and I have already participated in several plays
When challenged to design my sneakers, I had a clear idea in mind: to portray the night sea, which has huge meaning for me. My family and I used to go to the beach at night to watch the sea, and being there always made me feel free but also calmed me down, enabling me to face the day to day challenges and difficulties more confidently. The colours represent that experience: the blue represents the sea, the black is the night and the white the captures the peace I felt.
