DiVERGE was founded by a group of friends that, maybe just like you, got frustrated at how the sneaker industry currently operates. We believe the paradigm of mass producing sneakers of lower quality in, oftentimes, poor working conditions needs to end due to its environmental and social costs.
We believe there is another way. DiVERGE wants to disrupt the industry delivering handcrafted and customizable sneakers, ethically made to order in Portugal using premium materials that last.
Self-express
We want sneakers to be an instrument of social change. We believe the sneaker industry is based on a fashion focused model that limits our choices, making it difficult to find sneakers that perfectly match our style, needs and preferences.
DiVERGE stands for self-expression and helps you better express your uniqueness by allowing you to actively participate in the creative process. Either starting from a white canvas or from one of the brand’s curated inspirations, you can co-create quality sneakers to match who you are, how are you feeling or where you are in life. Our brand empowers you to make your own decisions in a social and environmentally responsible way.
To diverge
To go in a different direction, to not conform, can be hard. You need to be willing to challenge conventions - and maybe even yourself - and take risks to do it. However, we have no doubt that making your own journey will ultimately be rewarding and fulfilling.
