DiVERGE was created to disrupt the apparel industry - both in the virtual and physical worlds - leveraging the power of self expression.
That is why the coming of Web3 and its philosophy of empowering creators and communities was welcomed with excitement, as it allows us to further build on our brand vision in multiple ways.
The growing metaverses will provide new worlds where one will need to self-express and forge an identity, the principles behind the DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations) will drastically improve the community's influence in decision making processes of companies and NFTs (non-fungible tokens) provide an innovative and accessible platform for each one of us to further connect with our areas of interest, showcase our choices to peers and express ourselves.
Given what we originally set out to achive, we believe we are in a unique position to make the most of the opportunities Web3 creates (while honouring its ethos) and bridge the virtual and physical worlds.
In time, you will be able to wear the same DiVERGE sneakers you created in the metaverse of your choice and in real life.
Soon, we will challenge you to become a stakeholder in DiVERGE and have a say in what we we will be building next.
For now, we have opened our platform to upcoming artists and creators, enabling them to create NFTs - with sneakers to match - that bring their art to new media and new audiences, while valuing and rewarding them appropriately.
